Quick rack kit 2.4 ratio – Escort mark 1 and 2, competition specification

Escort 2.4 quick rack kit; includes new rack, pinion shaft, bronze end bush and tie rod cups, cup springs and plastic rack slipper pad. Includes pinion top seal and pinion bearings and new boots.

Suits TRW/Cam Gears steering racks only.

Competition spec rack kit with 24mm rack bar and accepts standard Ford tie rod fittings (screw on seat). Short pinion stem as fitted to all cars except Twin Cam Escort. Standard Ford racks have a 21.3mm rack bar giving these additional strength. These are produced in the UK and are a popular upgrade to the standard rack.

Will fit Ford Escort 1 & 2 TRW/Cam gears rack housings without modification.
