Quick rack 2.4 ratio – Escort Mk1 & 2 heavy duty, complete new assembly

Brand new quick rack steering rack; 2.4 turns lock-to-lock. Short stem (fits all Escorts except Twin Cam).

These are a heavy duty item with thicker rack bar (25mm) and body than the standard Ford unit and have bronze bushes.

Complete rack excluding tie rod ends ready to fit (pre greased). All new parts not reconditioned. Supplied with new poly mounts and steel clamps.

Suits Escort 1 & 2. These have a metric thread to the tie rods and mark 1 Escort  will require green tie rod ends when using Ford Capri or Escort twin Cam front struts.

Also suitable for Clubman and LoCost conversions. Dimensions of the mounts are: 223mm width inner mount to inner mount 293mm width outer mount to outer mount – mount bosses are 25mm wide. Rack overall width is 1040mm from end of the tie rod threads.
