Fully rebuilt 5 speed Sierra Type 9 gearbox converted to 2.98 first gear ratio. These boxes have been used successfully in the UK in applications such as drag and circuit racing.

Fully rebuilt and includes new bearings and seals with professional conversion to layshaft and first gear on mainshaft. Type 9 have a first gear of 3.3 or 3.6 and this brings first down to a better ratio similar to the Twin Cam Escort gearbox. Balance of the ratio set is: 2nd 1.97:1, 3rd 1.37:1, 4th 1.00:1, 5th 0.82:1.
