HiSpec 4 piston 260mm front brake kit Capri,Twin Cam Escort

Brake upgrade kit for all Escort and Capri fitted with Capri struts using a 260mm diameter rotor (245mm is standard). This caliper is a lug mount design and will bolt to original Ford struts with no modification; no holes to elongate, no mount bar needed.

It features a rigid lightweight aluminum body which is CNC machined from billet bar and is lighter than the original. Has 4 x 38.6mm pistons which retain virtually the same hydraulic area as original M16 calipers – no master cylinder change required. Utilises Volvo 240/260 pads so replacement and options are easy. The pistons do have dust seals so complies with most road registration requirements.

This kit includes:2 x Black M16 Billet 4 calipers, 2 x 260mm x 20mm vented grooved rotors, EBC greenstuff brake pads, all bolts, washer, etc to fit. Note that the brake line fitting to the caliper is a banjo style fitting and the original Ford steel brake pipe will not fit. An adapter will be required to fit the OEM brake pipe to the caliper.

Superb brake upgrade for your Escort.

Will fit 2L Escort struts but will require machining of the hubs and new caliper spacers to fit and is a fairly substantial amount of work to fit and is not a bolt on conversion.
