5 speed Type 9 gearbox straight cut gears. 2.48 1st, 0.87 5th. 3J driveline

Fully rebuilt Type 9 5 speed gearbox fitted with a straight cut close ratio gear set from 3J Driveline. Built from a second hand 4 cylinder box with the shorter input shaft.

The gear ratios are: 2.48, 1.69, 1.28, 1.0, 0.87  and are similar to the classic ‘Rocket’ gear set as used by Fords in their rally cars.

The main shaft or speed gears are coated with a high performance coating to aid oil absorption and increase life span, 1st and 2nd gears run on bearing races with caged needle rollers. Unique milled pockets on the face of the gears and oil scrolls throughout the bore lubricate the gears like no other kits do. No speedo drive fitted.

Sold outright no exchange needed. Includes new quick shift gear lever.
